I had seen some painted pumpkins on Apartment Therapy and thought it would be something fun and different to try over at our house.
I used some leftover spray paint and tape to get started.
I taped it up and spray painted away.
Peeled back the tape and got this! And while I was at it I thought I'd spray paint some other stuff around the house.
I also cooked up some Shrimp Etouffee to celebrate the cooler weather. (Sorry I didn't get to take a "pretty" picture, we were to busy digging in!)
How are you celebrating fall at your house?
I started putting up Halloween decorations about a week ago. My daughter and I went on a leaf hunt yesterday afternoon and picked up several handfulls of beautiful leaves in gold, rust, orange, and fiery red. We are going to preserve them in a water and glycerin solution, so that is the craft planned for this week. I will post on my blog.
