On my way home from visiting the hubs at Fort Hood last month I made a stop at one of my favorite places:
Ikea in Round Rock, TX!! Love it!!
To bad they don't have one here in San Antonio. I guess it's better to be sandwiched in between 2 (the Round Rock and Houston Locations) then to not be near one at all. Actually it's probably better there's not one closer by since I'd probably be there everyday.
I didn't do any major damage. I was really hoping to find a new rug for our living room. But since I limited myself to the clearance section I didn't find anything I liked. (Last time I went I was looking for a rug for Con-Man's nursery and found this green one for $100 off!:
Anyway, I didn't go away empty handed.
I bought a cute little side table (check back tomorrow to see what I did with it):
A fabric remnant that I'm not sure what to do with yet:
And I light kit that I know exactly what I'm going to do with but aren't sure when I'm going to get around to it:
So now that you have a little teaser of things to come, what is everyone else working on?

Pretty fabric! I love Ikea. A few years ago when I worked in Sweden I went to the largest Ikea in the world! I bought so much stuff I had to ship it back to the states. I didn't want to leave. ;)
Believe it or not, I have NEVER been to an IKEA in my life!
I may have to change that since my man took your man's place at Ft Hood this month!
Oh, how I wish we lived closer to an IKEA. I have only been to one once.
We were at that very same Ikea just a few weeks ago! We love Ikea! Since the nearest one is a 6 hour drive, we consider our rare visits kind of like a pilgrimage.
