For now you'll have to settle for some photo updates of our Master Bedroom. I made up my mind that I'm not going to procrastinate and let this room sit unfinished like I do with so many other rooms in our house. So here are some before shots just to remind you where we started:

Master Bedroom Progress
I've had 5 million things going on (Well more like 4 but it feels like 5 Million). One of them, the marathon, is over with. But the other 3 I'm still working on and am dying to to share with you- it's just not the right time yet.
For now you'll have to settle for some photo updates of our Master Bedroom. I made up my mind that I'm not going to procrastinate and let this room sit unfinished like I do with so many other rooms in our house. So here are some before shots just to remind you where we started:

Safe Deposit Box Console Update
Over the weekend I worked on fixing up the safe deposit boxes I bought last week. It may not look like much but I had to sand everything down, the top was marred pretty badly so I hit it with my wire brush attachment for the drill. Then taping off the handles took FOR -EVER! The handles aren't screwed on like the last metal box I repainted so I had to leave them on while spray painting.
My overall plan looks like this:
One drawer was already missing from one of the boxes. Since I need space for our cable receiver and DVD player I removed 3 more boxes to make an opening for them.
Since I don't think I'll ever find such a good deal on hairpin legs again, I have some on order that I found on Ebay.
The boxes are not the same height; as I originally thought. I think they used to stack on top of each other. So I am going to use some Birch Plywood leftover from another project to make a wood top for the shorter side in order to make the boxes the same height.

I am anxious to finish these up and get rid of the old rickety Ikea wooden stands we are currently using in our bedroom. I've had them since college and they have been used and abused over the years.

MIA: A Sad Story
So I've been missing in action- I'm sorry. I left without a "Hello." or "Goodbye."
Where have I been? The Hubs had a conference in Seattle so I decided to tag along (free hotel!). It was a lot of fun and I took lots of picture to show you when I got back; but more sad news. My Camera totally crapped out!!!
The only proof I have of our trip is the one picture The Hubs took of me with his IPhone in front of the Fish Market.

All my other photos look like this!!!
Rows and rows of black boxes! Darn you technology! I even had a post about Con-Man's new curtains I was going to share. But since the real camera is no longer working this is the best my IPhone could come up with:
Really disappointing. So in the meantime while I try to figure out what we're going to do (a new camera would be nice since we do have a new baby on the way!) here are some sneak peaks of projects I've been working on for Con-Man's new room. (Disclaimer- none of these photos have been retouched; just my IPhone in all it's glory.)
I've also started going to my Upholstery Class! My lovely camera deleted the whole tearing apart process (you know, the important part so you can remember how the chair was put together...) But here's my progress so far:
I've even started tearing apart and fixing up the gym flooring that I found.
So as you can see I've been busy, to busy maybe. Yipes! I have 10 projects started but none finished! And now I only have crummy IPhone pics to show for it. :P I guess I feel under the gun to get a lot of big stuff done before Tiny Falcon #2 shows up in July.
Have you ever gotten in over your head with to many projects? How do you divide up your time?

Some progress
I wanted to bring attention to the fact that I've finally figured out how to add "pages" to my blog. I've been wanting to do this for a while but didn't know how. I thought you had to pay for it or something. But you don't- hooray!
Let me know what you think! Is there anything you would like to see?
Thanks!!
